NORTH RIDGE

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ball, of Leroy, are rising relatives on the Daniel’s Road.
Mr. Willard Burgess, of Logansport, Ind., is visiting his uncle and aunt, Mr. Geo. Burgess and Mrs. Mariah Cottington, on the South Ridge.
Mr. and Mrs. Hart Slocurn, of Suspension Bridge, were visiting relatives on the Ridge last week.
Mr. John Darling and wife, who have been spending the summer in Alleghany Co., returned home last week.
W. C. Wood, M.D., is visiting relatives in St. Lawrence Co.
Mrs. Sleck, of Buffalo, is visiting Rev. G. Radamacher and family.
Miss Frank Elton has returned home from Buffalo, where she has been visiting friends.
Mrs. Mariah Cottington fell down the cellar stairs one day last week. She was badly bruised although no bones were broken. It was a narrow escape for one of her age, being over 80 years old.
Mr. Henry Hill, of Lockport, spent last Sabbath with his uncle, Thos. Barnes.
Miss Ida Barnes has returned to Lockport to resume teaching after her vacation.
Mrs. Mariah Gillis, accompanied by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. W. P. Gillis, is visiting her sons, Hiram and Silas, at Bradford, Pa. –BECKY SHARP.
