Miscellaneous:

• McDonough Funeral Card Collection: Over 350 local funeral cards were scanned covering a time span of over 100 years! Members can locate the collection in the Miscellaneous section of the Members-Only page.

Cemeteries:

• Price Cemetery by Michael F. Niethe (2016): Member Mike Niethe gave us permission to scan a book that he created (also located in our NCGS library) of Price Cemetery which includes obituaries, headstone transcriptions, stone shapes and material, maps, indexes, and more! Members can locate this new digital content in the Members-Only Page by clicking on the Cemeteries Folder then the Lockport Folder.

Newspapers:

• The Clay Banner – 18 October 1844
• Niagara Cataract – 18 November 1846 (low resolution)
• The Workingmen’s Journal – 22 December 1870

Members will be able to locate the issues by going to the Newspapers section and then the Random Single Issues of Newspapers Folder.

Schools:

• Lockport Class of 1938’s 50th Reunion Program: Surviving members of Lockport High School and St. Joseph’s Academy shared biographies and dedicated their booklet to the memory of their deceased classmates and listed their names. Locate the scan of this reunion program in the Schools section of the Members-Only Page.
