St. Joseph Cemetery is located on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY. The St. Joseph Church has a website that includes a page about the cemetery: https://www.holyfamilyrcchurch.org/st-joseph-cemetery. According to that website, the cemetery was established May 1920 and began with 11 acres of land which has since expanded to 17 acres of land.

Many of the tombstones in this cemetery have “IHS” engraved in a cross at the top. According to Douglas Keister in his book Stories in Stone: A Field Guide to Cemetery Symbolism and Iconography, IHS stands for the first three letters of Jesus’ name using the Greek alphabet.1
