Program Description: Finding artifacts and relatives is exciting for genealogists, but are we asking the right questions to get the information we need from them? We will stop and extract information from these resources to help breakdown our brick walls.

Speaker Bio: Eleanor is a genealogist who specializes in Midwestern-American genealogy and Scandinavian-American genealogy. She has presented across the country both in-person and online to historical societies, libraries, genealogical societies, and family reunions. Eleanor has taught a graduate-level genealogy class at University of Wisconsin-Madison’s iSchool and has helped with Henry Louis Gates’ Finding Your Roots.
