Land records hold details that census and vital records don’t, and they can be invaluable for genealogists. This session introduces New York land records and demonstrates how to locate, read, and interpret them. You will learn practical strategies for extracting genealogical details that help map ancestors’ lives, confirm relationships, and uncover family stories hidden in property transactions.
