Program Description: Learn about the ancestors our family members will not talk about by using prison and legal records, archives, online databases, and newspapers.

Speaker Bio: Eleanor Brinsko is a professional genealogist who specializes in Norwegian-American genealogy by looking at genealogical and social trends on both sides of the Atlantic. Eleanor has given lectures for the Wisconsin Historical Society and public libraries, genealogical societies, and family reunions across the country. She is also a contributor to the show “PBS’ Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr.”
